except maybe the ones that have been there forever and are over 80 (Grassley, Feinstein, Shelby, etc) - have some dreams of becoming president in the future.
Just among the Republicans, current and just retired: Tom Cotton, Ben Sasse, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Jeff Flake, Bob Corker, Lindsay Graham, John McCain, Lamar Alexander, Kelly Ayotte, Mitt Romney, Orrin Hatch...not to mention Rick Santorum, Sam Brownback, Fred Thompson, Dick Lugar, Arlen Specter and a few others.
