Mrs. Best works a 100% telecommute job and in the past, we were able to deduct all her home office expenses. Not anymore.

We're getting a federal refund (caveat coming), but its significantly down from the past several years. The "caveat" is that I, in anticipation of the tax scam screwing things overall for us folks who are not part of the 1%, doubled the amount of additional withholding in my W-4. Had I not taken this proactive step, the Mrs and I would have owed $$$. Not having the home office deductions really stung us.

When the Dems take over the WH and the Senate, this tax scam is one of the first things that needs to be repealed and replaced.
