3. I have my doubts about how footprints are calculated

like - it would be stupid IMO if emissions from making consumable goods and cars were attributed to the place where they were made instead of the place they were consumed. I have a feeling all of those cruise ships make the 'footprints' spike in Caribbean countries when it's no doubt people from elsewhere who are taking the cruises.

At any rate - there is this article suggesting that Finland's 'footprint' is large for the EU (they must have high heating costs for one thing):
