The Republican stopped being a legitimate representative of the people as soon as Nixon was swore in as their resident crook. The Republicans will stop at nothing to shield their criminal behavior. I don't trust anyone who belongs to a party that has worked to suppress the vote, prevent minorities and young people from registering to vote. Any minority who votes for them is brain dead. They are the party of racists and evangelical nitwits who believe the end of the world is imminent and are working to bring about it end. Throw in the ultra-wealthy who are consumed with greed and you have the makings for a disaster.
