I contacted my representatives. But I just finished listening to the NPR Politics Podcast and they quoted Nancy Pelosi saying there would be no impeachment without bipartisan support. I didn’t see that in the news, but I don’t think they made it up.

As Heather Digby Parton says, if we don’t impeach now we may as well take it out of the constitution.

I know impeachment is a political process, but it’s also the law. Trump is either unwilling or incapable of upholding his oath of office. It doesn’t matter if the Senate won’t convict. This is the law.

I’m baffled. But hopefully, the reality will sink in over the weekend and Democrats will realize that there really is no choice.

I have heard it said that if we impeach now and fail, then if Trump is re-elected, we no longer have recourse. I don’t care. I don’t think we have a choice.
