protecting the WH so the longer we wait to impeach the more Trump will be insulated. Legislation out of the House will be blocked in this repub senate and not covered by the media but holding Trump accountable will get voter's attention and covered by media. The longer Pelosi waits to impeach the more voters she loses and if she fails to do her constitutional duty we will lose the house and not gain the senate and get the rep of being cowardly dems. If the shoe were on the other foot impeachment would already be taking place. Pelosi no longer needs to justify impeachment but instead must justify her refusal to do so. Waiting for an election to rectify the situation is a precedent for allowing future presidents to ignore the law since there is no accountability for breaking it. Pelosi needs to recognize the seriousness of the situation and attack Trump on all fronts before he tries to make himself unaccountable and president for life. He is an admitted white nationalist fascist who needs to be stopped...now.
