Seriously doubt that McGahn was only trying to protect Trump from himself.

He was acting in his official capacity ... it was his JOB to say to 'f-that, are you nuts?'.

Ultimately he knew he was saving his own ass, personally and professionally, by refusing this illegal order.

But now the Trumpists wanna pretend he's actually a HERO to them for refusing to do what their Fuhrer demanded?
