One of the polls about the Mueller/Barr story shortly after the 4-page-letter release said that fewer than 40% of respondents had heard "a lot" about the letter or its findings. We assume that everyone is paying rapt attention - they're not.

Agreed on key snippets from frequent hearings. Sound bites are much better at getting into the public consciousness than the hearings themselves would be.
