It started as retribution for FDR. Every conceivable law to make transferring of wealth cheaper, faster and easier for the upper 1% was passed. The crowning achievement of greed was the 2000 Commodities Futures Modernization Act. Unopposed. Krugman is right but who is going to turn it???? Or benign status quo wins. Trump is confusing poverty with surrender. His artificially stimulated tax cut economy is on dangerous ground . Record setting stock prices without reciprocating valuation is an axiom for recession and correction.
