rurallib, you hit the nail right on the head. The upper class wealthy white males (and in some cases, older white women) want to control the rest of us. I am 62 years old but I can say I very often felt like my parents raised me in this way -- to be controlled and to not upset the apple cart. It surely fits the scenario of most people of color. Very profound!

One thing I don't understand is ....why isn't there a tsuami of protest by younger people over all the efforts Republican religious zealots have put forth to choke abortion rights? Either they simply don't care, or they're okay with it, which is totally disheartening, considering all the fighting my generation and older had to do just to win the right for a woman to choose her health care.
