(2,682 posts)Over three million more voted for Clinton than voted for trump. He "won" for a few reasons. First, the antiquated Electoral College gave him an edge, assisted by the many forms of interference by Russia and funded by American oligarchs. Next, the massive amount of free advertising by the MSM looking for higher ratings and higher advertising revenue. I'm my opinion, right-wing bigots alone didn't put that mad-man in the Oval Office. It was a collective effort by the worst of the system.
I don't think any one group was targeted for discrimination, that was just a bonus. They wanted nothing less than a damaged democracy with an eye to a permanent one party government.
Where's the hope? Over three million more voted for Clinton. People need to be motivated and organized to change the system. Each and every one of us need to recruit at least one other to understand the peril our country is in. VOTE!!
