I'm not sure what your point is, either.
At some point, your marijuana was grown (or imported, or sold in large quantities) by someone taking a considerable risk to life and liberty, and many of them paid dearly for it. Felony convictions. Prison.
I know one (white) man who served time in Indiana for growing.
I also know a (white) woman who was jailed in Utah for possession.
The spreading legalization movement is proof that ALL of that effort, from the 20s on, was a pointless tragedy. When will it be legalized at the federal level? When small states lose their grip on power in this nation. That is to say: not in my lifetime.
