We have the technology to store sperm cells for several decades, so I propose the following abortion prevention measure:
-collect samples from young men in their late teens
-store the samples cryogenically
-snip, snip
-when and if a couple desire a child, they can petition a court to defrost a sample

There: we can eliminate almost all abortions under this simple plan - and put a dent in population growth.
