As head of state The Queen has to host state visits, at the behest of the UKGov. It goes with the territory, one of the real downsides of the privileged lifestyle being royalty affords them.

I would not be surprised if she finds the prospect of another Trump encounter positively nauseating, but as a constitutional monarch she is expected to 'suck it up'. As for the other royals, protocol dictates that if HMQ has to suffer, they share the ordeal with her.

Blame our RWNJ government, which is drowning in a cesspit of their own making, for desperately wanting to suck up to Trump.
