I fully expect that if Trump were about to be impeached and removed from office then he would resign and Pence would pull a Ford.

If Trump loses the 2020 election I expect this to occur. It's why I question Pelosi's thought process. She has to realize that the Republicans I'm never going to allow Trump to serve one minute in prison. It's a ridiculous fairy tale, a fantasy written by some hack fan fiction author. Trump loses in 2020 that is going to resign and Pence will take office for the singular purpose of pardoning Trump.

It's either this or Trump refuses to leave office in which case we will have a huge problem much larger than anything we have experienced. It would lead to violent protest on both sides.
