A bevy of questions related to self defense, that could be an OP on it's own, the root question is: is a fetus a separate entity and does it have rights?

If the answer to that is no, then the fact that she was pregnant/ the fetus was terminated is irrelevant.
If the answer is yes then the question becomes who is responsible, which goes back to the self defense questions
