Are you asking me what can be addressed first? What has to be addressed first before other issues can be addressed?
I do think that there needs to be a prioritization - as we saw with Jimmy Carter, making everything urgent doesn't work.
With the awareness that I personally don't have the tools to tell the pilot in the cockpit how to fly the plane, this is what would convince me that someone has the tools for the impossible job of POTUS or Speaker, I would say.... There is far more than any 8 year term could solve, so what I look for is the ability to process new data, change course when they get new data that indicates a strategy change, an understanding that "identity politics" is an insulting, dismissive term, the ability to work WELL WITH OTHER PEOPLE, public speaking skills as well as skills in one on one conversations, a proven record of accomplishment on Capitol Hill, a very even temprament, and the recommendation of their progressive colleagues on the Hill and in advocacy, and a graduate degree.
