I remember when President Obama was in office and democrats had a majority in the Senate, a lone republican senator would put a hold on a nomination or register an objection to something and literally stop it cold. Merkley, Sanders and people like them simply roll over now for McConnell, they make no attempt to block legistlation and appointments the way republicans did. Then they turn around and blame Speaker Pelosi for not stopping the shit that they send her.
