you had some ideas on how they could do it better or differently.

"How hard could it be?" You don't really know, do you? But perhaps it's much harder than you assume it is.

And just as you wouldn't ask anyone in the DNC to play a Mahler timpani part, you'd likely not take seriously people who've never picked up an instrument or read a note of music yelling "wtf is wrong with the percussionist?!" over and over from the back row of the concert hall because some people in the audience are patting their feet off the beat.
