16. Republicans will claim that Democrats are not allowing witnesses who can clear Trump.

Just as they lied and claimed they were being left out of the private hearings, they’ll make a fuss that their witnesses are legitimate and need to be heard. I’m sure Laura Ingraham and Rush Limbaugh would make fine witnesses!
