if we can get the house back, and hold the senate this cycle as well as re-elect the POTUS.. the demographics change the the balance... while W was smart enough to reach out to Hispanics.. the republicans as a party have backed SB1070 in Arizona.. they have opposed the dream act... when the demographic bomb hits they will be out of power for a generation..

imagine when Texas turns blue, and Arizona.. the GOP may hold the old south and some Bible thumpers in the midwest, but will be greatly diminished as a political force.. while the voter suppression tactics, and the temporary cash advantage may influence them, ultimately the tide will wash them out.. to quote Sean Hanity "they will find themselves on the wrong side of history" (couldn't resist using that quote)
