when they avoid action brought against them in small claims court. I'm no lawyer and I think the rules vary state to state, but you let the other guys have their day and 'win' by default, BUT ... they still have to prove their case in the next legal round if there is one. And you've not shown your hand (if you have one).

But it's no strategy for the highest stakes in the country. It's petty, small-minded, and very stupid, in my view.
