To be a Republican and conservative is to be a blind partisan hack.

It is party heresy for a Republican to be critical of a Republican president – no matter how wrong, reprehensible, and unfit for office that president might be.

Republicans consider the presidency to be their ‘birthright,’ and as such they would never do or say anything to jeopardize that wrongheaded notion.

And this didn’t start with Trump.

"Why would they NOT impeach Trump and put in PENCE?"

Because that would to admit to being wrong - something else Republicans never do, although they're consistently wrong.
