Why panic on the basis of outlier polls? The point is for 3 years hes never polled near 46% which you referenced. His numbers have been amazingly static compared to every other president in the modern polling era. That has kept him from nosediving into the 30s when it was warranted but it will also very likely keep him from picking up the 4-5% he would need even to duplicate the electoral college win of 2016.
