Listen, we are past the point of no return, we're not going to save the planet as we know it, and that makes it even more important to act now, because we can still save enough to make it livable for most.
I always knew that the Cons would transition from denial to surrender. We are seeing that now, less and less they are denying global warming exists, and less and less they are denying it's primarily man made. But now they are in the, "It's too late to do anything about it" phase. We cannot let them sow this hopelessness into the masses. What we do now is more important than ever and can mean the difference between a livable, albeit changed, world and a wasteland of immeasurable human and animal suffering.
