1. I wouldn't get too excited about it but....

Upon announcing the results of the vote, the chief justice would immediately swear in the new potus.

It would be immediate. Then there could be a second vote to forbid the convicted from holding any future office, but that would take only 51 votes.

Without that second vote, he could still run for office again.

Upon removal, all trappings of the office would be removed. He wouldn't be entitled to pension, library, or arlington/state funeral.

It would be a shit show. Nobody would know what to do because it has literally never happened. It's not like a judge who would simply not be allowed back into his office. Trump literally lives at the wh. He has ss protection. He has papers and documents. He may have significant treasury assets.
