Yeah, I feel sad to know that there are even some people who fall victim to these IRS scams these days. These scammers have been around for years using this trick. I have just Googled up about it and found some reports filed at https://www.whycall.me/760-810-4313.html since 2018! I personally choose to just ignore any calls if I'm not familiar with the numbers. It's safer. We should keep spreading the word to family about how these scammers work.
