I expect Chief Justice Roberts to try to overturn the ACA. They don't want to hear the case this year, and hand the Dems more to run on than they already have. If Roberts thought SCOTUS would uphold the ACA, there would be no need to wait.
Once the ACA is struck down, there won't be anything to have as an option, public or otherwise.
