28. So why does Bernie insist on sticking with the brand, when he knows he doesn't accept

the first definition (unless, of course, he does)?

Why confuse/obfuscate, etc. for no good reason?

Why is that brand so important to him?

If he's the nominee, there will be many vulnerable members in swing districts of Congress who will have their campaigns become harder by having that label smeared all over them.
