4. I'm doomed already

Well, I wash my hands with soap and water at all appropriate times, but there are some conflicting bits of advice on hand sanitizers: some say to use them, others say that they are pretty much worthless and can mess up the ph balance in your skin - making it more vulnerable to germs (yes, I have heard both in the past 24 hours). A poster on the wall of every examination room at my doctor's office says in English and Spanish to cough and sneeze into your elbow. I read that tissues are not adequate. More conflicting information. :-/

I am lucky and thankful that I'm not in a high risk category. Who knows? The cold that I've had for the last couple of days could actually be coronavirus though there are no known cases of it in my state*.

*I find that hard to fathom that we haven't been hit yet. I live near Las Vegas and we get thousands and thousands of tourists here from "hot spot" areas.
