8. And clean your phone

I was thinking about this the other day. People are on their smart phones constantly, almost like it's a third hand. So you wash your hands, wash the grocery cart handle; you're good, right? But then you pick up all sorts of items to put in your cart as you are holding your phone in your hand (texting, googling, whatever). The virus can live on your phone for up to 9 days.

You go home from the store, wash your hands again, but forget to clean your phone. Next time you pick it you could be contaminating your hands again.

I will err on the side of caution and try to keep my phone in my pocket. If I have to take it out to use for whatever reason I will need to remember to wipe it off. Or I can keep it in a plastic bag (like a glove for my phone!) when out and about. Take it out of the plastic when I get home.
