That is Trump's reflexive action for any real or imagined injury to himself, his ego, the criminal enterprise called Trump, Inc.
I think that we, the American people, should sue his ass in state court for negligent homicide. If causing the deaths of hundreds, potentially thousands of Americans by, first of all, firing the pandemic response team in 2018, and then, once we actually had a pandemic on our hands, by delaying widespread testing, deliberately suppressing the testing to keep the numbers of infections low, and then, with the help of Faux News, downplaying the severity of the corona virus . . . if all this is not tort worthy, I don't know what is.
Of course, a lawsuit would drag on for years and would be dismissed by the Trump loyalists in the Supreme Court anyway. Another impeachment trial would take too long. And there is no way Mike Pence would 25th Amendment him.
I read somewhere online today that, thankfully, Trump does not have the power to delay the 2020 election. That power rests solely in Congress.
Which makes me wonder: Is there ANY way that Congress could move the election UP so that we could speed up Trump's removal from office???
