5. We live in rural northern NY...

near a few decent size towns/cities and according to my FB feed almost everything up here, except those stores/services deemed necessary, are closed, have cut way back and/or switched to call in and pick up orders only.

Not all but most up here seem to be taking this pretty seriously even though we haven't even had our first confirmed tested positive case yet. Mind you we also have a very good proactive (D) governor who's been on the ball on this.

I think some people are just recently waking up to this actually being something serious.

We've been self quarantined for a couple weeks but will need switch to doc distancing and protective measures to restock some supplies soon. Mostly it's for our critters whose appetites have picked up a bit with the Spring weather.
