24. I have a friend in procurement for a major CA corp.

They use the masks for clean room workers.

Due to the cluster of hospitals running out of masks, they were ordering N95s from their suppliers to donate to hospitals.

Now, do you think hospitals are still placing orders? Do you think hospitals are over ordering? Are other companies placing orders in higher quantities.

Classic whipsaw effect. Run our or run short and then over respond to the shortage.

Lack of leadership, lack of overall planning creates the problem.
