These are war time conditions, existential threat. You grab money from where you can - tax the rich, cannibalize corporate profits, and you prioritize production of essentials, like WWII. The MBAs of their days did input-output calculations on paper. CEOs converted factories of course. You do this today with food, medical supplies, farms, trucking, distribution energy - essentials. You use the power of the government to regulate during a crisis of this magnitude.

Trump is already 3 months behind. None of this has dawned on any of his administration. They think you just open and everyone will be fine as more people die and more waves are unleashed. It won't be fine.
