1. as a hospice volunteer

first, you did the thing they taught me to do, and you did it just right.
second, i loves me some nurses, but hospice nurses? sheesh what a rare breed of cat.

i'm dying missing my work right now. all us volunteers are on ice.
i worked w families, mostly, and they arent there where i can reach them.
but i have the greatest therapy dog in the history of same, and i always made sure the nurses got some biff time, too.
and they're in there all alone.

the world has cracked into before and after.
i sure hope the living will be okay when this is over.
