1. Trump's "deconstruction of the administrative state."

Early during the Trump administration Steve Bannon admitted their cabinet picks would be aimed at the "deconstruction of the administrative state,” meaning weakening regulatory agencies and other bureaucratic entities. At the time some believed Trump's grand vision was to reform government, but as it turns out he (and Putin) was only interested in the deconstruction part.
