Once in a while that remedy has been used to remove dead cows from a location because bears will be attracted and that wouldn't be good. It's a good reason why cattle shouldn't be allowed to graze in the woods and on our remote public lands, bears end up on the scene anyway and learn what beef tastes like and end up dead at a young age for figuring that out.
