57. Every single news report about protests

And every single picture out of the occupied zone in Seattle show people that are not social distancing!

Many may be wearing masks, but they are way too close to each other. And sadly, there are many that aren’t wear masks. These are people marching, chanting, screaming out their messages without maintaining a distance.

I’m sorry, but I think the “reopening too soon” argument is now lost amid these large public gatherings. These activists are also, presumably, going home and back to work after the protests are over, and they are spreading the virus as surely as the person who went to their favorite restaurant.

It would be hypocritical of me not to confess that I have not stayed home either, but the few restaurants we have been too have been outside on the patio with a minimum of six feet between the tables. We also wear our masks, and only remove them after the server has left the table.
