60. I feel you.

I bit my tongue ONCE. Never have I felt so ill in what was thought to be all white space.

Keep in mind that in looking white, you have tremendous power to stick up for others, without revealing your heritage if that's what you want to do. When YOU say "I don't want to hear it", white people have to think twice about what they say around other white people. And that is a challenge for them.

I have chosen to reveal my heritage at EVERY opportunity. I don't like anyone thinking that I'm white and therefore thinking they are in 100% white space, and going bat-shit racist because they think it's safe. I just don't want to hear it - stay in the closet.
