What I do is spray my mask on all areas with 91% alcohol, then leave it to dry.

it's recommended by cdc that cloth masked be washed. And you can't spray N95 masks with alcohol,

If you look at that filter, filter will have a hole where it comes in contact with valve.

Valved masks are just fine if the goal is to protect wearer from pollution or dangerous dust.

If you have an N95/N100 with a valve, then just put a surgical mask over it.
