Daily when things are critical or there are important pieces of legislation being debated.
I don't know why it's easier to get people to commit to a day long protest than it is to commit to 20 minutes a week to make a few calls. 
A friend of mine scolded me for not attending the Woman's March back in 2017. When I asked her, "How many times have you called your rep or senators in the past six months?" she at least had the good grace to say, "Point taken."
I call Gardner every week, if only to leave a message at how incompetent and corrupt the Con is & that maybe the senator should have picked someone with some integrity to stake his political career on, & also how much I look forward to donating time & money to John Hickenlooper's senate campaign.
