In reply to the discussion: Is your walmart really enforcing their Mask rule? [View all]SoonerPride
(12,286 posts)27. I HAD to go to WalMart for something on Saturday. I usually avoid it like the plague as well.
I bought my mom an Apple TV so she could watch Hamilton on my Disney+ account for her birthday and when I went to install it I didn't have an HDMI cable. DAMMIT!
So I HAD to go to WalMart to fetch one.
I was pleasantly surprised that they had a gatekeeper making sure everyone wore a mask. One guy about three people ahead of me was going in without one and they handed him a mask.
And this is in red red Oklahoma where mask usage has been spotty.
I noticed everyone inside kept their masks on. 100% compliance.

From what I've heard, the local Walmart is enforcing the state mandated mask rule.
