I was concerned that being a Chinese app, despite Tik Tok's claims to be independent of Chinese interference etc., that rump would put up some sort of fake 'national security' type of issue or other BS to justify actions he may take, if any on Tik Tok.

I would, IMHO, think if rump did anything on Tik Tok, that it would outrage an awful lot of people.

I agree w/ you in that attempts to 'ban' Tik Tok would be laughed at (1st Amendment issues, no authority under any sort of emergency powers act, etc.).

This administration is a joke, or more specifically, rump and what he thinks he can get away w/ vs. reality of the situation. It's certainly not a time to slack off and drift one's eyes away from rump and what he is doing at any given moment. I don't trust rump one bit.
