(25,586 posts)27. Windshields block 98%+ of all forms of UV light.
The side windows block much less as they arent laminated in the same fashion. Youre better off hanging them from the coathook if you want them sanitized. Better to just wash them.

The UV from the sunlight does sanitize it down here I the summer and the heat probably does also.
