7. Why don't I buy this?

Either they are certain they are going to lose and are taking the money for themselves or they are certain they are going to win - because ego - and aren't trying anymore. They are surrounded by fat cats every which way so that money must be somewhere.

Of course it is possible they are blowing through their cash but this just smells to me. Rich people get rich and stay rich by nickel and dimeing and to me they are abusing the office to pinch pennies for their overstuffed pockets.
