15. The rotor blades are NEVER turning while the president is not onboard.

The VH-3D "Sea King" has a clutched rotor system, which allows the engines to be running (which they ALWAYS ARE when it is on the South Lawn) while the rotors are still.

The President does not board or disembark Marine 1 when the rotors are turning.

Ever.

So there is never any "prop wash" until the aircraft is ready to depart.
