(3,282 posts)He's going try to say the virus is no big deal when they literally had to do something that was never done in medical history to treat him, and it still might not even work?
The antibody cocktail he took has never been combined with Remdesevir.
Think about that and then consider how he's going to say it's no big deal when Trump so far has needed a personal physician at his beck and call, oxygen, a med-evac, experimental treatments, therapeutics, a multiple day (or longer) stay at a world-class hospital.
These aren't things we do for the flu or a cold.
Besides that, doing so would be seen as a slap in the face to everyone who has died and their loved ones.
That's not a path to winning.
A better move would be to admit it's a probably and start acting like he should have the whole time. Supporting social distancing and masks (and practicing both himself), stopping rallies, requiring masks in all federal properties and by all federal employees.
However, that would mean he would have to admit that he was wrong this whole time and take responsibility for the irresponsibility he displayed before.
That's clearly not something that's going to happen either.
Better odds that nothing changes. These morons are still talking about when they can start rallies again.
