I just participated in the AP-NORC Friday night poll. Here's how they did it. [View all]

Got a big Postcard addressed to Indiana Voter at our address.
So either one of us could have used it to participate.
I did because my wife doesn't go into the tall grass for politics or the internet.
The card had a scratch off pin #. Then logged onto a website using the pin.

They asked questions about issues and candidates for office. There is no Senate election here, so it was just Governor and President choices. They asked a few questions about participation in 2018 and 2016. And candidate preference in 2016.
Some questions were about how important certain issues were and how they being handled and who would handle them best starting next year.

I'm guessing this is one polls that comes out Sunday/Monday ?
Looks like NORC is at the University of Chicago. I'm not sure what that stands for.

Anyway, so it is not necessarily a phone call that you get to participate. It's a post card. Check your mailbox.
On edit: There was also an option to call them at an 800 number with your pin to participate.
Random addresses of registered voters, I am guessing is how the selection is done.
Then you get a $5 e-gift card at one of 4 choices. I think Soros is sending mine. bwahahaha.
