11. I celebrate the self destruction of the GOP

It takes a long time for termites to damage a building. The damage is hidden for a very long time and by the time it becomes visible, the building is very close to unrepairable. To repair such damage, you must tear the building down one piece at a time, and replace the damaged timbers.

When the building is reconstructed, some materials must be replaced with different materials all together. The foundation is often the point of failure that let the infestation begin, and so that foundation must be rebuilt before anything else can be done.

This is where the GOP is right now. Sadly, they do not see it yet. So all we can do is get out the popcorn, and watch the festivities.
